Dates to visit Mykonos and save money
Like every service or product in the free market, the price of rooms in Mykonos depend on the demand of tourists. So, to save money, visit Mykonos May, June, September or octomber, because July and August are the highest seasons in Greece. Also note that during the 10 last days of August and all days of September you will find a lot of tourists and good room prices.

When should i decide to rent a car/bike?
Always keep in mind that a)businesses can rent a bike cheaper than a tourist will and b)it would be painful to visit Mykonos and start looking for a rental. Just ask Avra studios personell to help you out.

MYKONOS ISLAND

What is Mykonos island? It is one of the Cyclades, a group of islands of the Aegean Sea, lying between Tinos, Siros, Paros and Naxos. It has an area of 86 km² and an elevation of 364 m and is made mostly of granite. It has little natural fresh water and relies on the desalination of sea water to meet its needs. There are approximately 6200 inhabitants (2002). The largest town is Mykonos, also known as Hora, on the west coast.

MYKONOS PARADISE BEACH

Paradise Beach is both a quite, sleepy patch of sand and water and a seaside fraternity party. It has a pair of restaurants (go to the cafeteria because the fruit is refreshing,, the Greek salad is fresh from a garden and the chicken soulvaki is very tasty), grainy sand, a few small thatched trees providing shade and topless bathers stretched out on rented lawn chairs.
